The Carl Vincent Bini Golf Outing will be held on Monday, June 17, 2013 at the South Shore Golf Course on Staten Island. Registration begins at at 11:00am with a shotgun start at 1:00pm.
Dinner and raffles will be at 6:30pm at the Grand Oaks Country Club.

The Friends of Marty will host a social on the evening of Saturday, June 8, 2013 from 7:00pm until 10:00pm at Sona Thirteen in Morristown, NJ.
The Friends of Marty honor the memory of Martin (Marty) Boryczewski, with the Friends and Family of Martin Boryczewski Scholarship, which is awarded to a member of the junior class at Morris Catholic High School, Marty’s alma mater.
Marty was murdered on September 11, 2001 at Cantor Fitzgerald at the World Trade Center. He was 29.
The evening will consist of three hours of open bar, appetizers, a 50/50 and a raffle.
Tickets are $50.00 in advance or $60.00 at the door. There will be a limited number of wristbands available – the event is first come/first serve – so reserve your place by clicking here.
UPDATE: Due to the recent news about Sona Thirteen, Friends of Marty, Inc. has released the following statement: “We booked the Saturday Night Social event far in advance of the news that has recently come out regarding Sona Thirteen. Once we became aware of the story we contacted Sona Thirteen and following some discussions with them as well as internally, we decided to honor our commitment. The NYPD Emerald Society will host Together as One for One — a benefit to assist the family of PO Richard Donohue with medical bills – on Friday, May 24, 2013 from 6:30pm to 9:30pm at Legends NYC.
Police Officer Richard Donohue was the officer wounded in the shootout with the bombers after the Boston Marathon bombing. He was critically wounded, lost a great deal of blood and was near death when he arrived at the hospital. In his own words, “I am now awake, moving around, talking and telling jokes…much to my wife’s dismay.” Officer Donohue’s recovery will be long and expensive.
Tickets are $70.00, which include a full open bar, buffet dinner, celebrity appearances, prizes, etc.

On Saturday, May 18, 2013 from 3:00pm-9:00pm at Williston Post American Legion a fundraiser will be held for Lt. Steve Reisman. Steve, a husband and father of 2, was diagnosed with Stage 4 brain cancer in 2011. He is undergoing treatment but the financial hardships are a terrible burden on his family.
A donation of $50.00 at the door includes food, drink, raffles, and prizes. Monetary donations can be sent through the bag to: Division 6 (Friends of Steve). Make checks payable to Engine 71.
