Give blood in remembrance of the Boston Marathon bombing and shootout victims on Saturday, April 19, 2014 from 9:00am to 3:00pm in Watertown, MA. Transit Police Officer Richard “Dic” Donohue survived his catastrophic injury in the shootout with the Boston Marathon bombing suspects one year ago because of donated blood. Richmond University Medical Center and Staten Island University Hospital will jointly host a blood drive at Staten Island’s Borough Hall on Wednesday, April 23, 2014 from 9:30am to 3:30pm to benefit Staten Islanders.
