9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Michele’s Ride to Remember Bike Tour will ride from Buffalo to Seaford, NY from Saturday, July 30, 2016 to Saturday, August 6, 2016. The Ace Bailey Children’s Foundation will host a Spin-a-thon on Sunday, September 13, 2015 from 11:00am to 2:00pm to support their work with the Floating Hospital for Children at Tufts Medical Center. The FDNY 343 Ride will be riding to honor the 343 FDNY firefighters who were killed in the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001 and to raise money for wounded warriors. Fairfax County, Virginia has been named the host city for the 2015 World Police & Fire Games. The Games will bring more than 10,000 competitors to the area. Many of its 65 events will take place at Fairfax County venues such as George Mason University & Reston Town Center.
