9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. The Law Enforcement Ride & Run to Remember is a fun and exciting way to support the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund. On Sunday, September 14, 2014 and Monday, September 15, 2014, several FDNY members will ride bicycles from NYC to Montauk in honor of their fallen brothers. From Wednesday, March 19, 2014 to Saturday, April 5, 2014, five FDNY firefighters from Engine 9/Ladder 6 will ride their bicycles 1,400 miles in 18 days from the former World Trade Center to the Pentagon Memorial in Arlington, VA to the National Navy SEAL Museum in Florida. The third annual FDNY 343 Ride will take place on Monday, September 15, 2013 and Tuesday, September 16, 2013. More than 100 cyclists are expected for the 135-mile journey from the World Trade Center site to Montauk Point Lighthouse on Long Island. The fourth annual Heroes and Hope Century Bike Ride, a 62.5-mile (a metric century) bike ride over the route taken by United Flight 93, honors the victims of the terrorist attack of September 11, 2001.
