9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Fairfax County, Virginia has been named the host city for the 2015 World Police & Fire Games. The Games will bring more than 10,000 competitors to the area. Many of its 65 events will take place at Fairfax County venues such as George Mason University & Reston Town Center. The 2015 Games are tentatively set to run from June 26 to July 5 with the opening ceremonies at Nationals Park in Washington, D.C. For details, please click here.Find out more »

On Sunday, September 14, 2014 and Monday, September 15, 2014, several FDNY members will ride bicycles from NYC to Montauk in honor of their fallen brothers. From Wednesday, March 19, 2014 to Saturday, April 5, 2014, five FDNY firefighters from Engine 9/Ladder 6 will ride their bicycles 1,400 miles in 18 days from the former World Trade Center to the Pentagon Memorial in Arlington, VA to the National Navy SEAL Museum in Florida. The third annual FDNY 343 Ride will take place on Monday, September 15, 2013 and Tuesday, September 16, 2013. More than 100 cyclists are expected for the 135-mile journey from the World Trade Center site to Montauk Point Lighthouse on Long Island. The FDNY 343 Ride was founded in September 2011 to honor the 343 FDNY firefighters killed in the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center.
