Watch the opening day of Newark Bears baseball and support Hurricane Sandy victims on Sunday, April 7, 2013, from 4:00pm to 7:00pm. The Newark Bears will play the New Jersey Amateur Baseball League to help their neighbours devastated by the storm.
Tickets are $5.00 and are available here.
All proceeds will benefit the Restore the Shore campaign of Hometown Heroes.

On Thursday, October 4, 2012 at 9:30am, Engine 221 & Ladder 104 will host their annual one pitch tournament at Cunningham Park with proceeds going to the families of deceased FDNY firefighters and officers who died non-line of duty.
A registration fee of $300 per team includes food, soda, water and gatorade. Proceeds raised will benefit the Elsasser Fund.
There is no registration the day of the tournament.

On Friday, August 24, 2012 at 7:00pm, the Staten Island Yankees will host FDNY appreciation night as they take on the Brooklyn Cyclones at Richmond County Bank Ballpark in Staten Island. Tickets are $15.00 per person and include one hot dog and a beverage, a hat, and more.

The fourth annual Brooklyn Wall of Remembrance Night will be held this year on Friday, August 10, 2012. The evening begins at 6:00pm with a ceremony at the Brooklyn Wall of Remembrance. At 6:30pm, the colors will be presented and the National Anthem will be sung, and the baseball game begins at 7:00pm. The Brooklyn Cyclones will play the Vermont Lake Monsters. Stay after the game for fireworks.
The family of FF Stephen Siller will be honored at this year’s game for all their work via the Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation for children and veterans.
