9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. The third annual baseball game in honor of Martin Boryczewski will be held at Morris Catholic High School on Friday, April 15, 2016. Marty Boryczewski was a star baseball player in his years at Morris, then played several years of minor league baseball before joining Cantor Fitzgerald. Marty, 29, was killed at Cantor during the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001. The seventh annual Brooklyn Wall of Remembrance Heroes’ Night will be held at the Brooklyn Wall of Remembrance and MCU Park on Friday, August 14, 2015. The evening begins with a prayer service at the Wall at 6:00pm. Following the service at 6:30pm will be the National Anthem, presentation of colors and first pitch. Game time is 7:00pm. The Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation is hosting a fundraiser for the Sanford family at Yankee Stadium at 7:05pm on Tuesday, August 4, 2015. A portion of the ticket price to New York Yankees /Boston Red Sox game sold at their website will benefit the Sanford family. Joseph Sanford, Jr., a volunteer firefighter with the Inwood (Long Island) Fire Department, died on December 23, 2014, four days after being injured in a house fire in Woodmere.
