Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. The funeral for FDNY Lt. Gordon (Matt) Ambelas, who was killed in a burning high-rise building on July 5, 2014, will be held at St. Clare’s Church in Staten Island at 11:00am on Thursday, July 10, 2014. Lt. The 13th annual Richard Bosco Memorial Golf Outing will be held on Friday, July 11, 2014 at the New York Country Club in New Hempstead. Breakfast and registration will begin at 8:00am, with the shotgun start at 9:30am. Dinner will begin at roughly 4:00pm after the day’s golf. The Li’l Bravest is a charity started by Engine 84, Ladder 34, FDNY, in honor of their brother, FF John Sullivan, who died of World Trade Center-related illness on Christmas Eve 2012.
