9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. In the spring of 2014, Chris Waltenburg is hiking the Appalachian Trail (at the age of 60) to support the Brent Woodall Foundation for Exceptional Children. On Saturday, May 24, 2014 at 10:00am, the Towers of Freedom 9/11 Military Monument will be dedicated in John J. Burns Park in Massapequa. This is a unique memorial that honors all those lost on September 11th as well as all military personnel lost in the war on terror. There will be a post-ceremony coalition.Find out more »
