The Shirley Fiterman Art Center at Borough of Manhattan Community College in Lower Manhattan is hosting Top of the World, an exhibit on the rebuilding of the World Trade Center after the terrorist attacks. The exhibit opened on November 12, 2013 (coinciding with the opening of 4 WTC) and is ongoing. The ship that will soon join the US Navy as the USS Somerset arrived in Philadelphia on Friday, February 21, 2014. The ship will be commissioned on Saturday, March 1, 2014. A Catholic Mass will be celebrated at St. Peter’s Roman Catholic Church in Lower Manhattan at 10:30am on Wednesday, February 26, 2014 in memory of those killed in the 1993 terrorist bombing of the World Trade Center.
