The Shirley Fiterman Art Center at Borough of Manhattan Community College in Lower Manhattan is hosting Top of the World, an exhibit on the rebuilding of the World Trade Center after the terrorist attacks. We are very sad to report the death of retired FDNY Lt. George Reilly E-81, father of FF Kevin Reilly, who was killed by terrorists on September 11, 2001. Lt. Reilly was one of the “Band of Dads” during the recovery operation at the World Trade Center site. Wethersfield, CT has lit Christmas Eve luminarias for 39 years. Again this year, the Keane Foundation is selling luminaria kits to make it easy to participate in this beautiful tradition.
