9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Canstruction can be seen in the Winter Garden from Thursday, October 31, 2013 until Wednesday, November 13, 2013 from 10:00am – 6:00pm daily. The public is invited to bring canned or nonperishable food to donate when they come to view the exhibit. Food will be donated to City Harvest, as will all the cans used to make the sculptures. This month will mark the 75th anniversary of Kristallnacht, the Night of Broken Glass, November 9-10, 1938, when Nazis destroyed, burned and vandalized thousands of synagogues, Jewish homes and businesses.
