9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Canstruction can be seen in the Winter Garden from Thursday, October 31, 2013 until Wednesday, November 13, 2013 from 10:00am – 6:00pm daily. The public is invited to bring canned or nonperishable food to donate when they come to view the exhibit. Food will be donated to City Harvest, as will all the cans used to make the sculptures. The Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation and the Gary Sinise Foundation will present a Lt. Dan Band concert at 7:00pm on Friday, November 1, 2013 at the Memphis Convention Center to help Corporal Christian Brown, USMC. There will be a bone marrow drive for Owen Hogan on Saturday, November 2, 2013 from 9:30am to 3:30pm at Floral Park Bellerose Elementary School in Floral Park, Queens. Owen, the 2-year-old son of FDNY firefighter Tim Hogan, has aplastic anemia, a potentially fatal blood disorder and desperately needs a bone marrow transplant.
