9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. WTC survivor Ari Schonbrun speaks at Kansas City Kollel dinner

World Trade Center survivor Ari Schonbrun will be the featured speaker at the KC Kollel’s annual honoree dinner at the Overland Park Convention Center on Tuesday, August 20, 2013. The reception and silent auction will begin at 6:00pm; dinner & speaking starts at 7:00pm.
Ari Schonbrun worked for Cantor Fitzgerald, a firm located atop World Trade Center 1 that lost 658 employees in the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001. Schonbrun was one of a handful of survivors from Cantor. Schonbrun was on the 78th floor when the first plane hit.
Schonbrun now speaks to groups around the country and has written a book about his experience called Miracles and Fate on 78.
