9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Dr. Nathan Harness will give a talk as part of Southwestern Adventist University’s Scholars Lecture Series  on Thursday, January 17, 2013 at 7:30pm.

Harness is coordinator of international studies and assistant professor of finance at Texas A&M University. On September 11, 2001, he was on the 61st floor of Tower 2 of the World Trade Center when it was attacked by terrorists.

The title of the talk is “September 11th: A Story of Survival and Hope.”
