9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Wake for Sgt. Charles R. Salaway, NY State Police

New York State Police Sgt. Trooper/ Station Commander Charles R. Salaway died on June 10, 2018 from World Trade Center-related cancer, at the age of 44. He was a beloved friend and dedicated law enforcement professional who spent a great deal of time assisting at the World Trade Center following the attacks. He retired in October, 2013, after 27 years of service.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, June 14, 2018 from 3:00pm to 7:00pm at the Singleton Sullivan Potter Funeral Home in Queensbury, NY.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 15, 2018 at 11:00am at Christ Church United Methodist Church in Glens Falls, NY.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the NYS Troopers PBA Signal 30 Fund, 120 State Street, Suite 2 Albany, NY, 12207.
