Wake for retired NYPD Detective Gerard (Gerry) Ahearn

Retired NYPD Detective Gerard (Gerry) Ahearn has died of World Trade Center-related colon cancer. He worked in the DEA Intelligence Division and retired out of the 71 Squad in 2008.
Det. Ahearn’s wake will be held on Wednesday, October 26, 2016, from 2:00pm to 4:00pm and from 7:00pm to 9:00pm, and on Thursday, October 27, 2016 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm and from 7:00pm to 9:00pm at Moloney’s Bohemia Funeral Home in Bohemia, NY.
His funeral Mass will be said on Friday, October 28, 2016 at 9:45am at Good Shepherd Roman Catholic Church in Holbrook, NY.
