Wake for retired FDNY Battalion Chief George Eysser

Retired FDNY Battalion Chief George Eysser, 40-year veteran of the FDNY, formerly of Battalion 35, has died of World Trade Center related-illness. He responded to the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center despite having been ill.
His wake will take place at the Beney Funeral Home in Syosset on Wednesday June 17, 2015 2:00pm to 4:00pm and 7:00pm to 9:00pm.
His funeral will be held on Thursday June 18, 2015 at 11:00am at St. Edward’s Church in Syosset.
