Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Wake for NYPD Police Officer Andrew J. Lewis

On March 5, 2017, NYPD Police Officer Andrew J. Lewis, married father of three, died of from World Trade Center-related illness at the age of 49.
The visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 7, 2017 from 7:00pm to 9:00pm and on Wednesday, March 8, 2017 from 2:00pm to 4:30pm and from 7:00pm to 9:00pm at the Overton Funeral Home in Islip.
His funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, March 9, 2017, at 9:45am at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church in East Islip. Interment to follow at St. Patrick’s Cemetery in Bay Shore.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Andy’s name to the PBA Widows’ and Children’s Fund, 125 Broad Street, 11th floor, New York, NY, 10004, would be appreciated.
