Wake for NYPD Detective Thomas “Tommy” Barnett

NYPD Detective Thomas “Tommy” Barnett died on June 11, 2018 at the age of 55.
Detective Barnett joined the NYPD in 1985. He worked the recovery effort after the 9/11 terrorist attacks and retired in 2005. He then worked in Africa, Afghanistan and Iraq with security forces.
His wake will be held at the Assumma Shankey Funeral Home in Pearl River, NY on Friday, June 15, 2018 from 3:00pm to 5:00pm and from 6:00pm to 9:00pm.
The funeral will take place on Saturday, June 16, 2018, at 10:00am at St. Aedan’s Church in Pearl River.
