9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Wake for NYPD Detective Dennis J. Carroll, Sr. (ret.)

Retired NYPD Detective Dennis J. Carroll, Sr. has died at the age of 75. The retired homicide detective was also a Vietnam veteran.
His wake will be held at the Branch Funeral Home in Smithtown, NY on Thursday, April 6, 2017 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm and from 7:00pm until 9:00pm.
The funeral for Detective Carroll will take place on Friday, April 7, 2017 at 9:30am at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church in Kings Park, NY.
