Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Wake for Nassau County Sheriff’s Department Corrections Officer Lawrence Lamme

Nassau County Sheriff’s Department Corrections Officer Lawrence “Larry” Lamme died of cancer on December 7, 2017 at age 50, of site-related cancer.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 13, 2017 from 2:00pm until 4:00pm and from 7:00pm until 9:00pm at the Weigand Brothers Funeral Home in Williston Park, NY.
His funeral will take place on Thursday, December 14, 2017 at 10:30am at Saint John’s Lutheran Church, also in Williston Park.
Interment will be after the funeral in Pinelawn Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Larry’s memory to Saint Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital or the Humane Society.
