9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Wake for Joseph Patrick Murphy, retired L-156, FDNY

Joseph Patrick Murphy died on June 19, 2016. He was 56 and retired from the FDNY’s Ladder 156. He served as chairman of the FDNY Pipes & Drums.
Friends and relatives may pay their respects at the Marine Park Funeral Home in Brooklyn on Wednesday, June 22, 2016 and Thursday, June 23, 2016 from 2:00pm to 5:00pm and from 7:00pm to 9:00pm.
His funeral will take place on Friday, June 24, 2016 at 9:00am at the funeral home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for him at 10:00am at Brooklyn’s Good Shepherd R.C. Church.
He will be buried at Calverton National Cemetery.
