9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Wake for FF Michael P. McGrorty (ret.)

Retired FDNY Firefighter Michael P. McGrorty, 64, died on Friday, July 14, 2017. We have not heard whether this is a site-related death or not.
His wake will be held on Tuesday, July 18, 2017 and Wednesday, July 19, 2017, from 2:00pm to 4:30pm and from 7:00pm to 9:30pm, at the Claude R. Boyd-Spencer Funeral Home in Babylon.
His funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00am on Thursday, July 20, 2017, at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, also in Babylon.
Graveside committal prayers and interment will follow the funeral at North Babylon Cemetery.
