9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Wake for FDNY FF Michael J. Dannecker (ret.)

FF Michael J. Dannecker (ret.) died on Sunday, May 27, 2018. He was 77 and was a member of the FDNY for 32 years, also a U.S. Army veteran.
His wake will be held on Thursday, May 31, 2018 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm and from 7:00pm to 9:00pm at the Hanley Funeral Home in Staten Island.
FF Dannecker’s funeral Mass will take place at 9:30am on Friday, June 1, 2018 at St. Thomas Church, also on Staten Island.
In lieu of flowers, please send memorial donations to the Uniformed Firefighters’ Association, c/o: The UFA Widows’ and Children’s Fund.
