9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Wake for FDNY Lt. Steven Sorger, ret.

FDNY Lt. Steven Sorger, formerly of Engine 6, (retired) died on March 11, 2017 of 9/11-related illness.
His wake will take place on Saturday, March 18, 2017 and on Sunday, March 19, 2017 from 2:00pm to 5:00pm and from 7:00pm to 9:00pm at Charles J. O’Shea Funeral Home in East Meadow, NY.
His funeral will be held on Monday, March 20, 2017 at 10:45am at St. Raphael’s Church in East Meadow.
Lt. Sorger will be buried at Holy Rood Cemetery in Westbury, NY.
