Wake for FDNY Lieutenant John Dillon, R-4 (ret.)

Retired FDNY Lieutenant John Dillon has died. He had worked at Ladder 17 and Rescue 3 before becoming lieutenant at Rescue 4. One of Lt. Dillon’s last jobs was working at the recovery effort at the World Trade Center after the terrorist attacks.
His wake will be held at Maloney Lake Firehouse in Holbrook, NY on Wednesday, January 27, 2016 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm and from 7:00pm to 9:00pm.
His funeral Mass will be held at 9:45am on Thursday, January 28, 2016 at Good Shepherd Roman Catholic Church in Holbrook.
The family has requested that all FDNY members attending the funeral please wear Class “A” uniform.
