9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Wake for FDNY Lieutenant Christopher J. Raguso, E-302

Lieutenant Christopher J. Raguso, 39, of FDNY Engine 302, was killed in the line of duty while serving with the 106th Rescue Wing of the New York Air National Guard, on March 15, 2018. The helicopter he and six other airmen were flying in crashed near al Quaim on the border of Syria and Iraq.
Lt. Raguso was a veteran of operations in Iraq, Afghanistan, and the Horn of Africa. He also volunteered with the Commack Fire Department. He rescued flood victims during Hurricane Harvey. The FDNY decorated him for valor six times. Lt. Raguso leaves a wife and small children.
His wake will be held on Thursday, March 29, 2018, from 2:00pm-4:00pm and from 7:00pm-9:00pm and on Friday, March 30, 2018, also from 2:00pm-4:00pm and from 7:00pm-9:00pm at the Commack Fire Department.
His funeral will take place on Saturday, March 31, 2018 at 11:00am at St. Joseph’s Church in Kings Park, NY.
