9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Jeffrey Amato Sr. has died of 9/11-related esophageal cancer at the age of 51. He was a construction worker for Petmar Builders and worked during the recovery efforts after the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001.
His viewing will be held on Thursday, October 19, 2017, from 5:00pm to 9:00pm and Friday, October 20, 2017, from 1:00pm-4:00pm and again from 6:00pm until 9:00pm at the McMahon, Lyon & Hartnett Funeral Home in White Plains, NY.
His funeral will take place in the funeral home at 10:00am on Saturday, October 21, 2017, 10:00am. Interment will follow at Mount Cavalry Cemetery.
