9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Come to a support group on cancer survivorship and transitioning to wellness on Wednesday, April 17, 2013, from 7:00pm to 8:30pm (third Wednesday of every other month).
Topics may include:
Getting back to a functioning life, no more clinic visits; going back to work; dealing with possible late effects (“chemo brain”, neuropathy, fatigue); developing a new “normal”.
