9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Three-Mile Run Honoring NYPD Deputy Chief Steve Bonano

There will be a one-mile and a three-mile run honoring NYPD Deputy Chief Steve Bonano on Saturday, September 23, 2017 at the Kips Bay Boys’ & Girls’ Club in the Bronx.
A one-mile race for children aged 13 and under will begin at 9:00am. The three-mile race will start at 11:00am for those over 13.
There is a suggested donation of $5.00 to participate.
NYPD Deputy Chief Steve Bonano of the NYPD’s elite Emergency Service Unit died in 2015 of World Trade Center-related blood cancer. He was 53.
