Terry Farrell Firefighters Fund Christmas Holiday Fundraiser

The Terry Farrell Firefighters Fund will hold their 14th Christmas Holiday Fundraiser at R.P. McMurphy’s Public House in Wantagh on Saturday, December 5, 2015.
The day’s events will include a buffet, a visit from Santa, music from the Wantagh American Legion Pipe Band and raffles. There will be a toy drive collecting toys for sick children. The foundation needs unwrapped toys and raffle prizes.
All funds raised will support the work of the Terry Farrell Firefighters Fund. The Terry Fund supports children of firefighters, both FDNY members and volunteer departments on Long Island, with educational grants and scholarship awards. To date, the fund has given out over $1.5 million in equipment, educational and financial assistance since its inception.
Terry Farrell was murdered in the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001. A member of the elite unit Rescue 4, he was 45.
