9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Please join The Mission Continues, 9/11 Day Observance, The Corporation for National and Community Service and Volunteers of America Texas on Tuesday, September 11, 2012 to honour those murdered by terrorists on September 11, 2001 by serving at a local women’s treatment center.
Volunteers will build and install raised garden beds, sort through and organize donations, paint client rooms, and beautify the grounds. Be sure to wear clothes you won’t mind getting dirty as well as closed-toed shoes.
