9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Rick’s Place Golf Classic (formerly the Rick Thorpe Memorial Golf Tournament)

The 16th annual Rick’s Place Golf Classic, commemorating the 16th anniversary of the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, will be held on Saturday, September 16, 2017 at the Country Club of Wilbraham.
Only 136 slots are available this year. Organizers prefer to have complete foursomes register, however it is completely acceptable to sign up as a single, twosome, or threesome.
To ensure your place in this year’s tournament, please reserve your place early. The cost to attend is $150.00, which covers the day’s golf, cart, lunch prior, prizes for the winners, and dinner.
There will be a hole-in-one contest (win a brand new car), three closest to the pins and a woman’s and men’s longest drive hole.
If you do not golf, join the golfers for dinner at 6:00pm at the Country Club. The cost to attend only the dinner is $40.00 per person.

Rick Thorpe — a loved husband, father, brother and son — was killed during the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001 in Tower Two of the World Trade Center. Rick’s Place honors him by supporting grieving children and their families.
Through facilitated peer support groups, Rick’s Place offers grieving children and their caregivers a safe place to remember their loved ones, honor their memories, and avoid the sense of isolation that such a loss can produce.
