9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Postcards Memorial Ceremony – Staten Island
September 11, 2015 @ 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm
All of the September 11th community and all Staten Islanders are welcome to attend the memorial ceremony on Friday, September 11, 2015 at 6:30pm at the Postcards Memorial, on the water near the Staten Island Ferry terminal.
The ceremony is expected to last approximately one hour.
The Postcards Memorial opened in 2004 to honor the lives of the 274 Staten Island victims of the terrorist attack of September 11, 2001. Each victim’s name, silhouette and company affiliation is inside two 30-foot “postcards to heaven” that form wings on the Esplanade near the Staten Island Ferry Terminal.
