Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. PO Thomas Gorman (PAPD) Memorial Blood Drive

Somerset Medical Center in NJ is holding the annual PO Tom Gorman Memorial Blood Drive throughout the month of December at the Somerville hospital to honor Port Authority Police Officer Thomas Gorman, a regular blood donor at the hospital who was killed saving others during the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001.
Officer Gorman’s last blood donation blood on September 10, 2001, the day before he was murdered. Because of that and because his birthday was in December, Somerset Medical Center and his mother, Theresa, organized the annual blood drive to honor his memory.
