9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Plaque Dedication for FF John W. Monteverde

On Wednesday, October 15, 2014 at 11:00am, a plaque dedication ceremony will be held honoring the memory of Firefighter John W. Monteverde, who was killed by a drunk driver on October 11, 2013.
FF Monteverde had a 31-year career with the FDNY, including long service at the recovery operation at the site of the World Trade Center after the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001.
The dedication will take place in the quarters of E-22/L-13.
