9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. 67th anniversary of Hiroshima & Nagasaki bombings

Join A Peal for Peace Bell Ringing Project, Ring Bells around the World for Peace & A World without War to commemorate the 67th anniversary of the bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

On Sunday, August 5, 2012, beginning at 6:00pm, the public is invited to Strawberry Fields in Central Park to participate in sharing their visions of peace with poetry and songs. At 7:15pm, there will be a bell-ringing ceremony featuring a large bell from Shohola Bells and a Peace Pole from The World Peace Prayer Society, with the words, “May Peace Prevail on Earth,” in English, Japanese, French and Spanish. Everyone is invited to bring their own bells to join in.
