Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Panel discussion – “Wringing Order from Chaos: Principles for U.S. Engagement in the Middle East”

The Bipartisan Policy Center will present a panel discussion entitled Wringing Order from Chaos: Principles for U.S. Engagement in the Middle East on Thursday, April 13, 2017 from 10:00am to 11:30am at their center in Washington D.C. The event will be available online as well.

Ryan Crocker, former U.S. Ambassador to Afghanistan, Iraq, Pakistan, Syria, Kuwait and Lebanon; Eric Edelman, former Under Secretary of Defense Policy and U.S. Ambassador to Turkey; James Jeffrey, former Deputy National Security Advisor and U.S. Ambassador to Iraq and Turkey and Jake Sullivan, former Director of Policy Planning and Deputy Chief of Staff to the Secretary of State will discuss national security threats that the United States currently faces in the region and how to go about confronting them.
