9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. NYC Fire Museum Honours the 343

September 11, 2012 @ 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm

To commemorate the 11th anniversary of the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, the New York City Fire Museum will hold a service in memory of the 343 active-duty FDNY firefighters who made the supreme sacrifice. The ceremony takes place at 1:00pm on Tuesday, September 11, 2012.

There will be a wreath-laying ceremony in the Museum’s September 11th exhibit room. Former Chief of Department and current Fire Commissioner Salvatore Cassano will speak.

The Museum’s September 11th exhibit will be open, as always. There is also a special display of Halligan tools.
