Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. On Tuesday, August 7, 2012, at 7:10 pm the NY Mets will play the Marlins at CitiField.

Proceeds from this game will benefit the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund (NLEOMF ) in Washington, DC.

The mission of the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund is to generate increased public support for the law enforcement profession by permanently recording and appropriately commemorating the service and sacrifice of law enforcement officers; and to provide information that will help promote law enforcement safety. The National Law Enforcement Memorial opened in 1991. The National Law Enforcement Museum will open in Washington, DC in 2014.
