9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Nassau County Sunset Candlelight and Remembrance Ceremony

Nassau County will mark the 16th anniversary of the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001 at their annual Sunset Candlelight and Remembrance Ceremony at 6:30pm on Thursday, September 7, 2017 at the 9/11 Memorial in Eisenhower Park.
The ceremony will include the reading of the names of Nassau County residents who were killed in the attacks.
