9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. On Wednesday , September 11, 2013 at 9:00am, Rockland Fire/EMS invites the community to participate in a remembrance ceremony in front of the city’s newly completed 9/11 memorial.
Local firefighters and American Legion members will play Taps and fire a 21-gun salute to the 2,973 victims of the terrorist attacks.
