9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Memorial Candlelight Vigil – Tobay Beach, Oyster Bay, NY

The public is invited to attend the Town of Oyster Bay’s September 11th memorial ceremony honoring the memories of those murdered in the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001 on Wednesday, September 7, 2016 at 7:00pm at Tobay Beach.
From the beach, participants in the ceremony have a direct view of the World Trade Center site.
The Town’s 9/11 memorial bears the names of Oyster Bay residents killed on September 11, 2001.
The ceremony will include a candlelight vigil, songs, bagpipe music, religious readings and of course the reading of the names of local residents killed in the attacks.
