9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Matt’s Race 5-K Run (The Lt. Gordon “Matt” Ambelas Memorial 5-K)

On Sunday, April 22, 2018, at 10:00am, Matt’s Race, the Lt. Gordon Matt Ambelas Memorial 5-K, will be held in Clove Lakes Park in Staten Island.
The race is presented by Engine 161/Ladder 81 & Engine 211/Ladder 119 with the Staten Island Athletic Club in memory of Lt. Gordon “Matt” Ambelas, a long-serving FDNY member who was killed in the line of duty on July 5, 2014.
The registration fee is $20.00 for adults ($25.00 on race day), or $15.00 for children under 15 ($2000 on race day). There will be a post-race party at the Marine Corps. League including food, beverages and entertainment (the party is included for runners; $10.00 for non-runners).
Pre-race bib pick-up will be held at the Pepper Jack Grill on Thursday, April 19, 2018 from 7:00pm until 9:00pm.
