Keane Foundation Kids’ Vacation Day

December 27, 2017 @ 9:00 am - 3:00 pm

The Keane Foundation’s popular Kids’ Vacation Day will be held on Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at the 9/11 Memorial Sports Center.

The day begins at 9:00am-10:00am with toddler/parent activities like tunnel games or parachute games. From 10:30am to 12:00pm, 4 to 7-year-olds can choose from freeze tag, kick ball and basketball, and from 1:00pm-3:00pm, kids age 8 and older can use the computer room, or play dodge ball, street hockey and basketball.

Please note that the sessions are age-specific.

The fee to attend is $1.00 per child; but registration is required, as space is limited. Get the registration form for the December 27 vacation day here.

Richard “Dick” Keane travelled on business to the World Trade Center and was attending a meeting at Marsh & McLennan in Tower 1 on the morning of September 11, 2001. Dick was a devoted family man who loved children and sports, so his family started the Richard M. Keane Foundation and the 9/11 Memorial Sports Center for young people in the Wethersfield community.
