9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Juniper Valley Park Candlelight Vigil, Queens, NY

Every year there is a September 11th memorial candlelight vigil in Juniper Valley Park. This year’s gathering will take place at 7:30pm on Wednesday, September 11, 2013. Participants are asked to bring a chair, a blanket (if needed), an American flag, and a flashlight.
If it is a clear evening, the Tribute in Lights can be seen.
