9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Jimmy Straine Invitational

The 2015 Jimmy Straine Invitational will be held on Monday, June 8, 2015 at the New Jersey National Golf Club in Basking Ridge, NJ. The day will begin with registration and lunch on the terrace at 11:30am.
Please find your cart by 12:45pm for the 1:00pm shotgun start. Golf will be played in scramble format. Cocktails and silent auction begin at 6:00pm with dinner at 7:00pm with raffles and awards.
The fee for golf and dinner is $275.00. The fee for dinner only is $100.00. To register, please click here. All proceeds go to the James J. Straine, Jr. Memorial Fund, which continues to fund the James J. Straine, Jr. Memorial Scholarship, which is awarded annually to a graduating senior from Jimmy’s alma mater, Watchung Hills Regional High School in Warren, New Jersey.
In 2007 the Memorial Fund decided make an additional donation to the New York Rescue Workers Detoxification Project, which helps workers who dedicated their lives to the rescue and recovery effort at the World Trade Center after the attacks.
James J. Straine, Jr. was killed at Cantor Fitzgerald in Tower One of the World Trade Center during the terrorist attacks of 2001. He was 36 and the happily married father of 2 boys, one born on September 5, 2001.
