9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. The THYCA Annual Meeting and the 17th International Thyroid Cancer Survivors’ Conference will be held from Friday, October 17, 2014 to Sunday, October 19, 2014 in Denver, Colorado.
Learn about the latest research, advances in treatment and follow-up, plus issues for survivors and caregivers, and coping skills for well-being in more than 100 sessions.
This conference is for everyone whose life has been touched by thyroid cancer—people being tested, those newly diagnosed, long-term survivors, people with advanced disease, caregivers, and friends.
Thyroid cancer is one of the most common cancers among World Trade Center recovery workers and survivors.
