Hurricane Sandy closed the Manhattan Youth Downtown Community Center for more than two months. Their staff pumped 2 million gallons of water out of the Arts and Culture level and removed everything – including all the walls – and they’ve repaired, cleaned and painted the upper three floors of the Center.

The Center reopened recently, but the Arts and Culture level stands empty.

It’s a perfect space for a party!

Celebrate the renewal of the Center at a spectacular benefit event on Thursday, February 28, 2013 (time TBA).

Enjoy a fabulous dinner tasting prepared by some of the greatest Lower Manhattan chefs along with drinks at poolside.

Help Manhattan Youth rebuild their studio classrooms and spaces for arts, ceramics, filmmaking, music production, culinary arts, theatre and teen programs.

For sponsorship opportunities please call Bob Townley at 212-766-1104, ext.  229 or Jim Hopkins at 212-766-1104, ext. 232. More details will be available soon.
