9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Helping Children Cope with Stressful Life Events – Newtown, CT

A discussion called Helping Children Cope with Stressful Life Events will be held on Wednesday, November 20, 2013 at 6:00pm at the Resiliency Center of Newtown.

The presenter will be Deborah Rivlin of the Children’s Room in Boston. This interactive event will give parents ideas and tools to help their children cope with loss and stress.

The Resiliency Center of Newtown is a project of Tuesday’s Children and was set up to help those affected by the elementary school shooting in Newtown, CT last December.
