Funeral for NYPD Detective (ret.) Harry Valentin

NYPD Detective (ret.) Harry Valentin died of World Trade Center-related glioblastoma multiforme on Friday, May 18, 2018. He was 57. Det. Valentin was a 30-year veteran of the New York Police Department, retiring as a Detective first grade.
He worked during the recovery efforts at the World Trade Center and became ill due to his exposure.
Viewings for Det. Valentin will be held on Tuesday, May 22, 2018 from 9:30am-10:45am at the Church of St. Joseph’s in Hammonton, NJ where his Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at 11:00am.
Burial will follow in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Hammonton.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Abramson Cancer Center, Penn Medicine Development, Att’n Thomas White, 3535 Market St., Suite 750, Philadelphia, PA 19104.
