9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. FDNY Battalion Chief Joseph McKeon of Battalion 46 died of site-related illness on August 19, 2017. He was formerly Captain of Engine 23.
His Mass of Christian Burial will be said at 10:00am on Thursday, August 24, 2017 at Our Lady of Hope Roman Catholic Church in Carle Place.
